Who sees what

Updated

Ourday is your family’s shared brain and each member’s own brain at the same time. Some things live in the shared layer, some in a person’s own layer, and the family controls which.

You always know the scope

When Ourday saves something, it says who it’s for: “for the family”, “just on you”, “on you and Michelle”. No digging required. If you’re ever unsure about an item, ask: “who can see the dentist thing?”

Change it by saying so

“Keep that just between us.” “Actually, share that with everyone.” “That one’s for the parents.” One sentence changes who sees it, and Ourday confirms the change.

Kids have their own space too

Kids’ items work the same way, with parents involved where it matters. Ourday asks the family how to handle kid stuff rather than deciding for you, and what it asks grows with your kids.
