See Ourday in Outlook

Updated

Outlook (including Microsoft 365 work accounts) can follow any calendar that lives at a web address. Ask Ourday for your calendar link, add it once, and Ourday’s events show up in Outlook from then on. The bigger picture, including the three flavors of link, is at See Ourday in your calendar.

Know this first: updates arrive on Outlook’s schedule

Outlook re-reads subscribed calendars every few hours. New items always land in your briefings and answers immediately; the Outlook view catches up on its own cadence. If something you just added isn’t in Outlook yet, that’s the whole story.

On the web (outlook.com or your Microsoft 365 account):

  1. Ask Ourday for your calendar link if you don’t have it yet: “can I get my calendar link?”
  2. Open the calendar view.
  3. Choose Add calendar.
  4. Pick Subscribe from web.
  5. Paste your Ourday calendar link, give it a name if you like, and add it.

In the Outlook desktop app the same option lives under Add Calendar, then From Internet. Once added, it syncs to the Outlook mobile app on its own.

The link works like a key: anyone holding it can see that calendar. Paste it into Outlook and nowhere else. If it ever leaks, tell Ourday “I need a new calendar link” and the old one stops working right away; paste the fresh one into Outlook the same way.
